Booking Driving Hours- We are the only driving school on the Cape with an online booking system. Schedule2Drive.com allows our students to book, verify, or cancel their driving appointments and check their balance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Students will receive confirmation emails every time they book a lesson and can also sign up for email and text alerts when hours become available in their town.
Door To Door Service- For driving hours we will pick students up at home, school, or work and drop them back off. Restrictions do apply. Pick up and drop off must be in the same town. Grand Prix cars will not go over the bridge to pick up a student, so students who live over the bridge must make arrangements to meet the instructor on the cape. Grand Prix cars will also not go past the Orleans rotary, so students living past that point must make arrangements to be picked up somewhere else.
Experience- Grand Prix Driving School was opened in 1975. It has been a family owned and run business for 36+ years. With 3 generations dedicated to making your driving experience a good one, you know at Grand Prix you will be treated like family.
Instructors- With 12 certified driving instructors we are able to offer many driving hours at different times of the week. Students will also get complete exposure to different driving skills by learning from multiple driving instructors each with different experiences and strengths. Our Team of Instructors: Tom- Dave H- Cathy- Linda- Jed -Liisa- Jean- Barry- John- Lorri- Liam- Lauren
Flexible Schedules- We have instructors on the road Monday-Saturday, with hours in the morning, afternoon, night. We can also arrange for a student to get picked up at home, work, or school, or even a friend's house. (Notice of change in pick up must be given 24 hours before a lesson.)
We Support Our Schools- We support the local high schools throughout the year by making donations, buying advertisements, and giving scholarships to graduating seniors. We want your child to get the best education possible. On the road and off.
Guest Speakers- We aim to make class more educational and more fun by inviting guest speakers to come to class. Guest speakers include insurance agents, advocates from the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts, and local police officers.
Hands On Education: We try to make class as interactive as possible by encouraging students to ask questions and to participate. We also have educational games that teach our students about driver's ed in a fun and interesting way. When weather permits students will learn the basics of car maintenance by doing it themselves.
Payment Plans- We are the only driving school on the cape that will allow you to make monthly payments towards your bill.
Most Classroom Locations- With 3 Grand Prix classroom locations and multiple high schools that we teach out of, and our courses at the Harwich Community Center we can offer you freedom of choice and plenty of opportunities to get your classroom hours done.
FASTRACK- For students that choose this option, we can guarantee that they will finish their entire driver's education course (classroom and on the road components) in 16 days.
