FULL DRIVERS EDUCATION COURSE*
For students under the age of 18 in order to get a licence they are required by law to complete a driver's education course. This includes 30 hours classroom instruction, 12 hours driving instruction, 6 hours driving observation, and a 2 hour parent class. The total cost for driver's education is $725 all inclusive.
$300 non-refundable down payment required, may pay the remaining balance in 4 monthly payments of $100 with a final payment of $25.
NO final hours of driving will be booked with an unpaid balance. You may pay your whole balance at any time.
*Taking the driver's education course entitles you to a discount on your car insurance. Call your insurance agent for details.
LIMITED PARTICIPATION COURSE
CLASSROOM PROGRAM ONLY
Classroom Program includes the 30 hours of classroom instruction. The total cost is $300 due in full at time of enrollment.
DRIVING PROGRAM ONLY
The driving program is available to those students who have completed the classroom instruction elsewhere. The driving portion includes 12 hours of driving instruction, 6 hours of in the car observation, their driver's education certificate. The total cost is $660.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Sponsorship for state exam:$50 - $100 - This service includes a warm up lesson, given immediately before the test, Grand Prix booking the road test with the RMV and handling all the paperwork. Warm up lessons are $80 an hour or $100 for one and a half hours.
Additional Lessons: $60 an hour, after 12 hours the cost per houri is $50 dollars.
Standard shift driving lessons: $80 an hour, or $40 additional an hour for student in drivers ed program. 2 hour minimum.
Fastracking: Want to be done with driver's ed in 16 days? Please contact our office for information regarding additional fees for Fast Tracking.

- A letter of completion from the classroom instructor/school is required with enrollment.

Any cancellations must be made 24 hours before scheduled driving lesson to avoid a $60 fee.
All weekend driving hours must be canceled by 4pm on Friday.

Bring-A-Friend Discount- For every friend you get to sign up for Grand Prix, we will take $25 off your bill. (They must give your name when they send in their enrollment form. After the fact, the discount will not be applied)
Transfer Discount- Has an older child taken Driver's Ed at another driving school? Call to ask about this discount for choosing the best driving school on the Cape.
Previous Child Discount- Has an older child taken Driver's Ed at Grand Prix? Ask about your discount for repeat business!
Advertising Discounts- Keep an eye out for our advertising discounts in your school newspapers, sports fliers, band and music programs, fundraisers, as well as in local newspapers and in our brochures.
Seasonal Specials- Call to ask if we are running any seasonal or class specific discounts.
Insurance Discount- This wont take money off your bill with Grand Prix, however the successful completion of the driver's ed program will entitle the student to money off their car insurance. Call your insurance agent for details.
