THE NUTS AND BOLTS OF DRIVING LESSONS
Welcome to Grand Prix Driving School. This sheet will not only give us necessary information about you to get you started but also to help you better understand the process of drivers education.
The students can start booking their driving lessons after we have received the enrollment sheet, copy of their permit, and payment for the first lesson. Each time they drive, they must have their learner’s permit (no photocopies), they cannot drive without it. Lessons are by appointment, and are a door- to- door service in most locations. Home pickups the student must be ready up to ½ hour before the scheduled time. This allows the instructor flexibility in case of schedule or geographical problems as well as your observation time. For driving hours we will pick students up at home, school, or work and drop them back off. Restrictions do apply. Pick up and drop off must be in the same town. Grand Prix cars will not go over the bridge to pick up a student, so students who live over the bridge must make arrangements to meet the instructor on the cape. Grand Prix cars will also not go past the Orleans rotary, so students living past that point must make arrangements to be picked up somewhere else.
ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: We must charge $60.00 per hour lesson, for a CANCELLATION OR NO-SHOW, if he or she is unavailable, unable, canceling or just missed the driving appointment without a 24-hour notice. To cancel weekend appointments we must be notified by 4pm on Friday. Also you may not book your last four driving hours unless your bill is paid in full.
If you decide to have Grand Prix sponsor you for your road test WE MUST BE THE ONE TO BOOK THE TEST FOR YOU.
Sponsorship includes, the use of our car, driving instructor as sponsor and an instructional warm up lesson.
Warm up lessons are either 1 hour for $80.00 or 1 1/2 hr 100.00
Car rental only is $50.
