What is DRIVERS EDUCATION
A Drivers Education ( D.E.) course consists of:
30 Hrs classroom instruction (at Harwich High room 101)
12 hrs of on road driver training,
6 hrs of peer observation
2 hour parent class (for all students under 18 years of age).
Students that complete the above requirements are eligible to receive a DRIVERS EDUCATION CERTIFICATE issued by the Registry of Motor Vehicles, entitling them to years of insurance reductions .
What do I do now ?
1) Pick a class that you want to attend: and don't forget the manditory parent class
2)Enroll in that class : Send enrollment sheet, copy of your permit or birth cerificate, and deposit to:

After attending class log onto  (help logging in ) to book your driving lessons
Driving lessons are booked in 2 hr blocks. You will do 1 driving and 1 obs, so when your 6 obs is done you will book 2 hours of driving depending on availability. Only the office can book the 2nd hour of driving on the same day for you.
3) Once all your Driver's Ed requirements have been completed you will be certified by the MA RMV this takes 7 to 10 business days.
4) Choose your Sponsor
5) Pass the road test and enjoy your Junior Operators Lisence (restrictions apply)
