Harwich High School
Harwich High's class is going to be;
Februrary 1, 2010 through Feb 12 after school (2-5:15pm)
There is a minimum of 10 students that must be enrolled in order for the class to take place.
What is DRIVERS EDUCATION
A Drivers Education ( D.E.) course consists of:
30 Hrs classroom instruction (at Harwich High room 103)
12 hrs of on road driver training,
6 hrs of peer observation
2 hour parent class (for all students under 18 years of age).
Students that complete the above requirements are eligible to receive a DRIVERS EDUCATION CERTIFICATE issued by the Registry of Motor Vehicles, entitling them to years of insurance reductions .
What do I do now ?
1) Pick a class that you want to attend: and don't forget the manditory Parent class
2)Enroll in that class : SEND enrollment sheet, copy of your permit or birth cerificate, and deposit to:

After attending class log onto  (help logging in ) to book your driving lessons
Driving lessons are booked in 2 hr blocks. You will do 1 driving and 1 obs, so when your 6 obs is done look for open lessons that have an opening before or after your desired driving hour, and call the office to get the 2nd hr of driving. ONLY THE OFFICE CAN BOOK YOU THE 2ND HOUR ON THE SAME DAY
3) Once all your Drivers Ed requirements are completed you will be certified by the Ma RMV this takes 7 to 10 business days.
4) Choose your Sponsor
5) Pass the road test and enjoy your Junior Operators Lisence (restrictions apply)
